The
Heart of the Continent Fair
The Heart of the Continent Fair is presented by the
Red River Exhibition Association
and is sanctioned by the Manitoba Hunter Jumper Association, and features
some of the best horses and riders from Canada and the United States. This is an annual event in
Winnipeg. Agility in Manitoba has participated on several occasions by hosting
agility trials or by putting on agility demonstrations at the fair.
In 2004 and 2005 AIM participated in the dog and horse relay event.
We hope to be involved in a demo at the Fair again this year on
Saturday, August 5, 2006.
Great Manitoba Dog Party
The Great Manitoba Dog Party is an annual event in
Winnipeg. Agility in Manitoba has been participating
for the last several years in the agility demonstrations.
In 2006 the MVMA is moving the Dog Party and
changing the date, it will be moved to Assiniboine
Park starting at 11:00am on Sunday, October 1, 2006.

Selkirk Triple S Fair and Rodeo
In July 2001 AIM presented a demonstration at the Triple S Fair and Rodeo in
Selkirk, Manitoba. AIM will be put on 5 shows a day. Demonstrations included agility, various dog
skills events and fun events that entertained the crowd.
In 1999 Agility in Manitoba was invited to participate in the
half time show at a Winnipeg Blue
Bombers football team home game. AIM put on a side
by side two team agility relay race.
