bullet

Organize the awards at the show site.

bullet

Lay out the ribbons for presentation for each event.

bullet

Get the results from the score table after each class.

bullet

Make an announcement that awards are being presented for that class.

bullet

Present the awards.  (During course building, etc. – don’t stop the show for awards.)  It helps to have one person reading, one person giving out the awards, and one person ready to write names on any unclaimed ribbons.  On the summary sheet, keep track of the number of placement ribbons, qualifiers and coupons given out.

bullet

Take inventory and package all left-over ribbons, awards and prizes for the next show committee.  Arrange for their storage.

bullet

Send thank-you notes to all sponsors & contributors for donations.
